Dan Cake Polonia has signed a lease with Biuro Inwestycji Kapitalowych for approximately 4,400 sqm, of which around 4,250 sqm is warehouse space and approximately 150 sqm is office and welfare space.
Dan Cake Polonia is one of the leading names in the bakery and confectionery industry in Poland and a leader in the sector of packaged bakery and confectionery products in the country. It has been part of an international group since 2004, with production plants in Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Poland and Bangladesh. Its Polish facility with seven production lines is located in Chrzanow. Dan Cake’s current portfolio on the Polish market comprises approximately 70 products.
The Silesian Logistics Centre in Sosnowiec comprises four warehouses with a total area of 46,500 sqm, of which 2,000 sqm is office and welfare space. It is located in the immediate vicinity of two key communication arteries: the A4 motorway, linking Rzeszow and the western border of Poland, and Silesia’s eastern ring-road - the S1 expressway, running via Cieszyn to the south of Europe. It is an ideal location for distribution to the Upper Silesian Industrial Region and - thanks an excellent transportation network - to Poland’s southern neighbours.
