De Heus, a producer of animal feed, which has built a strong presence in the Polish market, has leased 7,050 sqm of warehouse and office space at GLP Łódź III Logistics Centre. This is the first Class A warehouse of De Heus in Poland. The tenant was advised by specialists from Newmark Polska during the search for the right space and throughout the lease negotiations.
De Heus is a family-owned company with a long history. Founded in 1911, it has grown at a rapid pace, opening new plants around the world. Today, De Heus operates in more than 50 countries and employs over 8,000 people. The company produces more than 12 million tonnes of feed annually, including over 2 million tonnes in Poland. De Heus supports a wide range of farmers –producers of meat, milk, eggs and fish. In addition to delivering premium quality livestock feed, the company also provides nutritional advice and a variety of business solutions for farmers.
“For us, this is not just warehouse space, but an investment that brings a new level of quality to customer service. Thanks to its strategic location in Łódź and modern logistics solutions, we can operate faster and more efficiently, staying even closer to farmers across Poland while ensuring stable, secure supplies and the support they deserve. This is a step we are taking together with our clients for the future of Polish farming,” says Ilona Wzgarda, Head of Operations, De Heus Polska.
“We thank De Heus for the trust it has placed in us. We are also pleased that the milestone of leasing the first Class A warehouse in the Polish market was achieved in cooperation with Newmark Polska. We look forward to supporting De Heus again in the future with our warehouse and office market expertise and our experience in leading negotiations,” says Jan Olszewski, Advisor, Newmark Polska.
“I am very pleased that De Heus has signed up to join the tenants of GLP Łódź III Logistics Centre and has decided to establish its first central warehouse here. This is a great distinction and further underscores the attractiveness of our project, which offers modern technical solutions, a strategic location, flexibility and growth opportunities. Our park still has space available for immediate occupancy that can be configured to meet the needs and expectations of any client,” adds Paweł Żeromski, Business Development Manager, GLP.
GLP Łódź III Logistics Centre is a Class A, BREEAM-certified warehouse park situated in Brzezińska Street in Łódź.
