DTS Transport expands warehouse footprint in Gdansk

DTS Transport has expanded its warehouse footprint in Gdansk to 2,100 sqm. The tenant was represented during the process of warehouse and office lease renegotiation and expansion by real estate advisory firm Cresa.

DTS Transport is a specialized TFL company and a leading provider of home delivery solutions in Poland, integrated transport and assembly services, and contract logistics. It has been present on the Polish market for 20 years, driving the growth of e-commerce across such sectors as furniture, electronics and home appliances, and delivery of large, heavy or bulky shipments to end customers.

The warehouse of DTS Transport, situated in the Gdansk-Kowale Distribution Centre, expanded from 1,300 sqm to 2,100 sqm. The company has three logistical hubs: in Warsaw, Sosnowiec, and Łódź, as well as a network of warehouses in Gdansk, Szczecin, Poznań, Sękocin, Warsaw Annopol, Krakow, Olsztyn, Rzeszów, Wrocław, Lublin, Białystok, and Bydgoszcz.

“On account of the nature of its business, DTS Transport was looking for a warehouse unit where to service an appropriate number of trucks within a short time. Having a maximum number of docks on a small leased area was the key decision driver for the client,” says Jakub Dudkiewicz, Advisor, Industrial and Warehouse Department, Cresa Poland. “I’m pleased that Gdansk-Kowale Distribution Centre came forward with a suitable solution to ensure a seamless transition into the unit.”
