FM Logistic began operations in its transhipment hub in Janki near Warsaw last November. The facility is very conveniently located: 15 km from the centre of the Polish capital, directly off the S8 expressway in the direction of Katowice, Krakow and Wroclaw. The warehouse has an area of 5,000 sqm. In addition, the facility provides offices and a spacious meeting room for FM Logistic employees and their visitors.
The scheme has a well-developed outdoor infrastructure including car, van and truck parking spaces. It also features 15 loading docks and an external 16-metre long concrete ramp.
The transhipment hub operates 24/7 and employs 20 forklift operators. The warehouse of FM Logistic currently handles 2,000 pallets daily and is expected to see its capacity reach 3,000.
