GK SPECJAŁ expands its logistics centre at MLP Poznań to over 22,000 sqm

The Specjał Capital Group has expanded its presence at the MLP Poznań logistics center by leasing an additional 6,400 sqm of space intended for warehousing, including cold and freezer storage. At the same time, it extended its existing lease agreement, which covers more than 15,000 sqm of warehouse space and over 760 sqm of office space. As a result, the total area used by SPECJAŁ at this location has exceeded 22,000 sqm. This also entailed the relocation of the SPECJAŁ Śrem branch to the new location. The client was represented in the leasing process by the advisory firm Newmark Polska.

As part of the agreement, Specjał extended the lease of its previously occupied space, which includes over 15,000 sqm of modern warehouse space and 766 sqm of office space. At the same time, the company decided to expand the occupied area by an additional 6,400 sqm, designated for warehousing with cold and freezer storage.

– Our presence at the MLP Poznań park is an important pillar of our logistics operations in western Poland. Thanks to the new agreement, we have increased our total operational space at this location to over 22,000 sqm, which significantly strengthens our capabilities in the distribution of fresh and frozen products. MLP Group’s flexibility in adapting the space to meet our operational and refrigeration needs was a key factor in the decision-making process – emphasizes Paweł Styka, Logistics Director at the Specjał Capital Group.

– We are pleased that the SPECJAŁ Capital Group – a well-established brand in the Polish food market – has decided to further develop its cooperation with MLP Group. This confirms that our logistics park in Koninko, located along the S11 route and close to the A2 motorway, offers not only an excellent location but also flexibility and high-quality warehouse infrastructure. The Specjał Capital Group also leases a similar amount of space in the MLP Czeladź park, making it one of MLP Group’s key clients in the food logistics sector – emphasizes Agnieszka Góźdź, Management Board Member and Chief Development Officer at MLP Group S.A.

– The flexible and partnership-based approach of the MLP Poznań park owner enables our FMCG clients to develop efficient distribution centers, including those requiring specialized refrigeration infrastructure. At Newmark Polska, we have been supporting SPECJAŁ for years in implementing its development strategy, advising on the selection of optimal warehousing solutions and lease negotiations. This long-standing cooperation is a testament to the trust placed in us and serves as motivation to continue delivering high-quality services that meet the company’s dynamically evolving needs – adds Katarzyna Bojanowicz, Head of Business Development at Newmark Polska.

MLP Poznań Park is a modern logistics center developed in line with MLP Group’s long-term “build & hold” strategy, which involves retaining investments in the portfolio and managing them directly. As a result, tenants can rely not only on high-quality infrastructure but also on stability, flexibility, and long-term operational support. Every MLP Group investment stands out for its excellent location, high maintenance standards, and long-lasting appeal. Once fully developed, MLP Poznań will comprise approximately 90,000 sqm of warehouse and production space.
