Igepa becomes new tenant at MLP Pruszków II

Igepa, a distributor of printing, office and visual advertising materials, has leased over 5,000 sqm of modern space at the MLP Pruszków II logistics park. Once completed, the facility will be handed over to Igepa in February next year. The transaction was concluded through the agency of Cresa Polska, a real estate advisory firm.

Igepa has signed up to a lease from MLP Group of 5,060 sqm at the MLP Pruszków II logistics park, including 4,860 sqm2 of warehouse space and 200 sqm of social amenity and office space. Once completed, the facility will be handed over to the tenant in February 2020. The transaction was completed with the support of the advisory firm Cresa Polska.

Igepa Polska is Poland’s leading distributor of printing media and office paper and a member of the international Igepa Group. The group is a major European distributor of printing, office and visual advertising materials. With over 40 years of operating history, the Igepa Group has established a presence in more than 20 countries in Europe and beyond.

“Our logistics centre on the outskirts of Warsaw is very popular with tenants, and it is this popularity that drives the rapid expansion. MLP Pruszków II still offers considerable scope for further extension,” says Tomasz Pietrzak, Senior Leasing Manager at MLP Group S.A.

“The fast growth of Igepa’s Warsaw branch and a revision of the company’s long-term plans has made it necessary for warehouse space at their current location to be increased by as much as 50%. Their experience so far with MLP and its flexible approach to tenant needs were the reasons why Igepa decided to continue their business relationship with MLP in Pruszków,” says Jakub Kurek, Associate Director at the Industrial and Warehouse Space Department of Cresa Polska.

The MLP Group keeps upgrading the infrastructure of MLP Pruszków II. To accommodate the rapid expansion of what is already the largest logistics centre near Warsaw, a second access road to the site, intended for passenger cars, has been opened. Plans are in place to launch a third access road for all vehicles, including lorries, by the end of this year. This will greatly enhance access to specific facilities for employees and suppliers alike, also considering the fact MLP Pruszków II covers an area of approximately 72 hectares and will ultimately offer about 285,000 sqm of warehouse and office space.
