InPost has extended its Paczkomaty network

InPost has extended its Paczkomaty network to 5,000 parcel lockers. Its 5,000th parcel locker was built in Drogomysl, a village in Silesia. “We have surpassed the needs of e-commerce in Poland,” said Rafał Brzoska, President of InPost.

According to Kantar TNS research, 74% of online shoppers collect parcels from InPost Paczkomaty®, and according to the Gemius report as many as 52% of online buyers indicate InPost Paczkomaty® as their most preferred form of delivery.

“The rapid growth of the InPost Paczkomaty® network is a response to the growing demand coming from customers. We are being inundated with requests for new parcel lockers from smaller towns and villages in particular where they make life so much easier. We take a close look at all the requests. The network of 5,000 InPost Paczkomaty® is a great achievement, but we are not resting on our laurels - we are planning to continue to grow,” said Rafał Brzoska, President of InPost.

“Paczkomaty® has a huge growth potential, both in terms of the size of the network and offered services. We have a full technical capacity to market refrigerated lockers to enable collection of foodstuffs, beverages and frozen foods. We have surpassed the needs of the Polish e-commerce market and are waiting for e-stores to develop their range of foodstuffs. According to Kantar TNS research, as many as 40% of online shoppers would like to collect groceries from InPost Paczkomaty,” adds Rafał Brzoska.
