InPost signs further deals with MLP Group

InPost has signed further lease agreements with MLP Group: for more than 8,800 sqm in MLP Gliwice and more than 8,600 sqm in MLP Wroclaw West. Its sorting facilities are scheduled to become operational in the second half of 2020.

In 2020, InPost will have 10 sorting facilities and logistics centres, including four from Panattoni Europe: the existing, expanded central sorting facility in P3 Piotrkow, two sorting facilities in 7R Park Sosnowiec and 7R Park Warsaw, as well as modern schemes in MLP Poznan West, MLP Gliwice and MLP Wroclaw West. Looking ahead, InPost is planning to maintain its strong growth and will need to extend its infrastructure.

“We already have a network of 6,000 Paczkomaty® parcel lockers across Poland and are seeing our volumes of parcels rise significantly faster than the entire market. That’s why we are expanding our logistics infrastructure to shorten delivery times to the minimum. We are proud that more than 98% of our parcels are delivered on D+1 - it's a high standard even for super-efficient courier companies. Customers choose InPost just for the speed and convenience of our deliveries,” says Rafał Brzoska, President of InPost.

InPost is witnessing a steady increase in demand for its services – it now has more parcel lockers Paczkomaty® (6,000 in Poland) than Poczta Polska (4,600 own facilities).

“We handed over the first 8,800 sqm building in MLP Poznan West in September. We have now provided further prime locations where the tenant intends to build new distribution centres. We will deliver a total of approximately 25,000 sqm in 2020. As in Poznan, the facilities in Gliwice and Wroclaw will also have cross-docking spaces for efficient transloading, picking and handling of courier parcels. The well-developed network of MLP Group’s logistics parks provides our partners with excellent opportunities to organize operations in all the key regions of Poland,” said Agnieszka Gozdz, Director of the Sales Department at MLP Group S.A.
