InPost, a leader in e-commerce deliveries signed new lease agreements with 7R for A-class warehouse space totalling 19 000 sqm. Cresa represented the tenant in the transaction.

InPost will be leasing warehouse space in two, new logistic parks - 7R Park Sosnowiec and 7R Park Warsaw West I. Each of the facilities will be around 9 500 sqm, the handover of the space is planned for Q2 2019.

InPost is a logistics company specialising in deliveries into parcel lockers, enabling the customers to receive them at their convenience. The company owns over 4 800 parcel lockers in the whole of Poland. Right now InPost focuses on e-commerce with deliveries mainly to parcel lockers and courier services for e-shops.

- InPost’s parcel lockers network grows very dynamically and that’s why we have decided on leasing more space which will allow us to ensure even faster delivery of parcels. The two key locations that were obvious to start our expansion at were Silesia and Warsaw. 7R met our expectations exactly and offered two ideally located facilities with cross docks and with a very fast delivery schedule – says Rafał Brzoska, InPost’s SA CEO.

Both InPost warehouses will use such energy efficient solutions like LED light and electric cars charging stations. Fire resistance will be increased to the highest level - above 4 000 MJ/mkw. Both facilities will be BREEAM certified.

- Thanks to our projects around the whole country we were able to offer to InPost locations that fit perfectly into their distribution network. Due to the special requirements of our customer, the space will allow cross-docking, mainly by designing enough dock gates and drive-in doors. I am hoping for this deal to be the beginning of a long-lasting partnership between 7R and InPost – says Maciej Krawiecki, Leasing Director at 7R SA.

- The priority for InPost was location – closest possible to Warsaw and in Sosnowiec, where they could have Built-to-Suit facilities. An innovative and well thought-out concept prepared by the InPost Facility Management Team allowed to optimize the investment, avoiding the excessive number of gates or building an unusual shape of the building. Our customer’s expectations were fully met by 7R. New warehouses will enable InPost further dynamic expansion and ensuring comprehensive and professional logistics service for a growing number of customers – says Katarzyna Bojanowicz, Business Development Director, Industrial & Warehouse Department, Cresa Poland.
