P3 will add another 3,109 sqm to the warehouse at P3 Piotrkow. Logistics operator InPost has been present at P3 Piotrkow since 2009. In September 2016, to go the extra mile to meet the client’s expectations, P3 handed over a 15,300 sqm facility with 8,000 sqm of loading/unloading space, 5,600 sqm of warehouse space, and 1,700 sqm of office space. Due to the firm’s growing requirements, this space is no longer sufficient.
As many as 33 docks have been planned on the 3,109 sqm space to be added to the existing warehouse, bringing the total tally of docks to 78 in addition to seven grade level doors. Increasing the space will allow InPost to install in the warehouse yet another sorter – a third one now. Thanks to this, it will be able to increase parcel volumes and employment by 20%.
The extension has been organized so as not to disrupt the operations at the facility. The handover of the new part of the warehouse is scheduled for Q4 2019.
P3 Piotrkow is one of the largest warehouse parks in Central Poland. It is located in Wola Bykowska, near Piotrkow Trybunalski, an interchange of the A1 motorway and the E75 and E67 routes. The location of the park provides optimum conditions for domestic distribution.
