An automotive company Magneti Marelli already has five manufacturing plants in Poland employing approximately 3,000 staff.
It was granted three new permits to operate within the Katowice Special Economic Zone: one in Sosnowiec and two in Bielsko-Biała.
It intends to upgrade manufacturing facilities and to develop new warehouse and office space.
In addition to Magneti Marelli, Tenglong Polska and Aweco Polska Appliance have also recently decided to engage in new projects
within the Katowice Special Economic zone, creating approximately 40 jobs.
The Katowice Special Economic Zone is home to more than 300 Polish and global businesses that have already invested upwards
of PLN 30 billion and created more than 70,000 jobs.
