Orsay leases new warehouse space in Bielany Wrocławskie

Ordipol Sp. z o.o., the owner of Orsay stores, is expanding its presence on the warehouse market in Wrocław. Its new warehouses in Hillwood Wrocław Bielany, handed over to the company in November 2019, will further improve its online order fulfilment. The tenant was represented by real estate advisory firm Cresa Poland.

Founded in 1975, Orsay is an international fashion retailer with a presence in 33 countries and more than 700 stores in prime locations. Its head office is located in Willstätt, Germany, and its support center is in Wrocław.

“Orsay is intensively expanding its e-commerce business both in Central and Eastern Europe and in Western Europe. To embrace this growth, we need modern warehouse space to complement our existing infrastructure. And for operational reasons, we wanted the new space to be as close as possible to our central distribution facility in Wrocław,” says Alina Andrejczuk, Expansion Manager, Ordipol.

The additional 6,500 sqm warehouse space is located in Hillwood Wrocław Bielany, Bielany Wrocławskie, 10 km to the south-west of the centre of Wrocław and 12 km from Wrocław-Strachowice International Airport. The park is located in the immediate vicinity of national road 35, and approximately 2.5 km from the “Bielany Wrocławskie” interchange of the A4 motorway and Wrocław’s A8 ring road. Part of the logistics park has a Special Economic Zone status.

“Orsay wanted space to be available quickly and to enable ease of operations. We presented all available options drawing on our extensive knowledge of the Wrocław market. The location decision was influenced by the availability of suitable space in Hillwood Wrocław Bielany and the landlord’s flexibility,” says Marcin Łukoszko, Senior BTS/BTO Advisor, Industrial and Warehouse Department, Cresa Poland.
