Panattoni Europe is beginning construction of the largest distribution centre for Carrefour Poland in the country. It will be a BTS facility featuring more than 63,600 sqm. The project is being developed in Rawa Mazowiecka and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019.
It is the second time that Carrefour Poland has contracted the developer to deliver modern warehouse space. The facility with more than 63,600 sqm is being built on a 20-hectare plus plot in Rawa Mazowiecka. It will provide 61,500 sqm of warehouse space and 2,100 sqm of office and welfare space.
The facility in Rawa Mazowiecka will be the third distribution centre in the current supply chain of Carrefour Poland from which ID Logistics will provide deliveries to all brick-and-mortar formats of the retailer in central and eastern Poland. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2019 with early access to be granted in September. The lease agreement was signed for 10 years.
The new facility for Carrefour Poland will be developed near Rawa Mazowiecka, Central Poland. It will be located next to the S8 expressway and 100 km from the interchange of the A1 and A2 motorways.
