Panattoni builds in Ruda Slaska

Panattoni Europe is preparing for another project in Silesia. The developer has acquired a site on which it will build Panattoni Park Ruda Slaska II, with a planned area of more than 55,200 sqm and construction work set to begin in early 2020.

Panattoni Europe noticed Silesia’s potential years ago and has ever since developed industrial projects in Gliwice, Sosnowiec, Katowice, Myslowice, Bielsko-Biala, Czeladz, and now in Ruda Slaska. It has just acquired a 12-hectare land on which it will build Panattoni Park Ruda Slaska II. The 55,200 sqm distribution complex will consist of two Class A buildings offering flexible arrangement options of individual units to be used for warehousing, sorting and picking or light production. The industrial park will be built within the city’s limits, just 2 km from the Silesian central highway (DTS) and will meet BREAM certification requirements. The construction work is set to commence in early 2020.

Panattoni Park Ruda Slaska II is located within the city’s limits, in Hallera Street, and 2 km from the Silesian central highway (DTS), which connects Katowice and the A1 motorway, and close to the A4 motorway. It is under an hour’s drive from the Czech Republic, a strong advantage of the complex for its potential occupiers. This prime location combined with a well-developed infrastructure and public transport network in Upper Silesia will provide easy access to skilled labour.
