Nearly one million square metres, a grade-separated intersection with national road 86 (Katowice-Warsaw), thousands of workers, a kindergarten, a restaurant, offices and special recreational zones – all this in the project of DL Invest Group in Psary, the first of its kind in Poland. The official opening of the first phase of the project will take place this October.
DL Invest Park Psary is already attracting strong interest on the Polish logistics market even though only the first phase of the project is nearing completion. Segment C, the first part of the project, consists of three buildings, two of which have already been delivered and the third one is under construction. The first phase will provide a total of almost 70,000 sqm of leasable space and an option to expand it to more than 320,000 sqm.
Following the completion of Segment C, construction of Segment B will begin and be followed by Segments A and D.
The official opening of the second part of Segment C is scheduled for 17 October 2019. Representatives of the municipality and the county administrator’s office, the largest companies in Poland and the Investor will come together to jointly celebrate another milestone in the development of this large-scale project.
DL Invest Park Psary is a unique project not only in terms of size. In developing its projects DL Invest Group always ensures that its tenants, their employees and local communities are provided with additional benefits and amenities such as a green break-out area, an interchange station, a canteen and volleyball or basketball courts.
DL Bistro is one of the Investor’s original concepts to provide catering for tenants’ employees together with a local restaurant. All the costs of building the canteen will be borne solely by DL Invest Group.
DL Invest Group wants the project to also benefit the local community rather than be a burden. There have been reports of other investors failing to perform their obligations to city authorities, municipalities and inhabitants, and quickly selling and thereby getting rid of responsibility for their properties. DL Invest Group assumes full responsibility not only as the investor, but also as the property owner and manager. By establishing a presence in this location for years to come, DL Invest Group actually delivers on all its obligations and promises. For its Psary project, for instance, DL Invest Group has earmarked more than PLN 20 million for the ancillary infrastructure which includes additional acoustic screens, pedestrian and wildlife underpasses, a grade-separated intersection connecting national road 86 and two villages of the Psary municipality, more than 3 km of new roads, including the new Podgorna street with a parking bay for school buses and a special pedestrian precinct, and an interchange station to support the local transport infrastructure.
The project in Psary will create thousands of new jobs for the municipality’s inhabitants. DL Invest Group is also planning to create special recreational areas available to the inhabitants of Psary and nearby localities. These may include an open-air gym, a bonfire or barbecue area and a basketball court and more.
DL Invest Park Psary will be officially opened on 17 October 2019. The event’s technological partners are Verakomp and Samsung.
