POLOmarket is the largest Polish-owned supermarket chain with over 280 stores across the country. It will lease the third warehouse building in 7R Park Tczew which will be fully tailored to the tenant’s requirements and serve as the main distribution centre for northern Poland.
The 30,500 sqm project for POLOmarket will consist of 20,000 sqm of dry storage space, 8,000 sqm of cooling storage, 1,500 sqm of freezing storage, and approximately 800 sqm of office space. The building’s height will be a non-standard 10.7 m, while the roof structure will be reinforced to support photovoltaic panels. The project will have its own truck wash, petrol station and ample car and truck parking facilities.
The project’s major advantage lies in its prime location within 7R Park Tczew, which opened in September 2019 and is part of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone. The park is positioned near the A1 motorway, directly by the Swarozyn interchange and the junction of national roads 91 and 22, making for an easy access to main transportation routes and efficient distribution of goods.
