Pulpack, a producer of ecological packaging from moulded pulp, has leased nearly 10,800 sqm of warehouse space at SEGRO Business Park Lodz.
Pulpack is a German-based provider of fully biodegradable eco-designed packaging solutions from recycled materials. Through its policy, it supports circular economy underpinned by the principle of recycling waste into new products. Key decision drivers behind the choice of SEGRO Business Park Lodz included not only its convenient location but also its technical parameters – a competent partner with strong experience in property management was required to install heavy machinery. In addition, the building features air supply and exhaust systems and a substation to step up the voltage of a power system for the packaging production line.
Pulpack currently has 50 employees in its warehouse, but to meet the strong demand for sustainable packaging the company is planning to increase its headcount to more than 100 in the next four years. Its clients include mainly highly specialised finished goods manufacturers requiring top-quality packaging solutions. Pulpack’s key account in Lodz is a leading IT brand focusing on the use of sustainable packaging in its business operations.
