Regesta S.A. renews its warehouse lease in Bieruń

Regesta, a specialist provider of road transport, forwarding and logistics services, has renewed its lease for more than 17,000 sqm of warehouse, office and social space in Park Tychy DC1. The tenant was represented during the lease negotiations by real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska.

Founded more than 28 years ago, Regesta provides integrated solutions in road transport (both national and international), transportation by sea and contract logistics. Its statistics make for impressive reading: the company employs over 640 staff, its vehicles cover 100,000-plus km every day, annually executing more than 86,000 orders. To accommodate its rapid growth and to meet client expectations, Regesta S.A. extended its lease for warehouse and office space in Park Tychy DC1, where it will continue for another five years. Regesta is also present in other locations, including in Pomerania, where it has a combined real estate footprint of 100,000-plus sqm.

“REGESTA continues to go from strength to strength, also in Silesia. The warehouse in Bieruń is very important for us due to its proximity to our key automotive clients based in Tychy and Gliwice. We are pleased with the successful outcome of the renegotiations with Whitestar and with our cooperation over the years,” says Marcin Szostak, Logistics Director, REGESTA S.A.

“Regesta was driven to extend its lease not only by its own needs resulting from its growth plans but also by the fact that its current location makes for an easy commute. We are grateful for the trust it placed again in the team of Newmark Polska. We are delighted that we are able to assist our client in its expansion by ensuring it has optimum growth conditions,” says Janusz Dudek, Senior Advisor, Newmark Polska.

“The lease renewal by Regesta S.A. has strengthened our business partnership. We are very pleased that our tenants choose to continue the growth of their business in our facility and value its strategic location, high quality and our day-to-day activities in our role as a property and leasing manager for the complex,” says Urszula Rasmussen, Head of Industrial Leasing, White Star Real Estate.

Park Tychy DC1 is a modern distribution centre (a class A warehouse) in Upper Silesia providing easy access to the main regional transport routes. Its location is valued in particular by transport companies operating international supply chains. In addition, it offers space that can be tailored to meet individual occupier requirements. The industrial park is managed by Czech real estate investment manager REICO investiční společnost České spořitelny, a.s. on behalf of RCSN and White Star Real Estate.
