A new 12,200 sqm production and warehouse project has broken ground within the SEGRO Logistics Park Lodz complex. The facility is being developed for AQ Wiring Systems, which designs, manufactures and sells power and control cable harnesses and electromechanical modules.
AQ Wiring Systems currently occupies approximately 8,800 sqm in an existing building within the SEGRO Logistics Park Lodz complex. To accommodate its client’s growth needs, SEGRO, the property manager and owner of the industrial park, acquired an additional 4.6 hectare plot in 2018 to develop a BTS warehouse project. The facility will comprise over 9,600 sqm of warehouse and production space and nearly 2,700 sqm of office space. In the future, it could be extended by a further 5,000 sqm. The development is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2019.
SEGRO Logistics Park Lodz is an industrial park in close proximity to the A2 motorway and in the immediate vicinity of the “Lodz East” interchange of the A1 motorway.
