Soltec to increase its warehouse space

Soltec to increase its warehouse space

Soltec, a distributor of photovoltaic components, leased approx. 4,100 sqm of warehouse and office space in Prologis Park Warsaw II. The tenant was represented by real estate advisory firm Cresa Poland during the negotiation process.

Soltec is one of the oldest companies operating in the photovoltaic industry in Poland. For over 14 years, the company has been providing business partners with the highest quality products compulsory to build photovoltaic power plants of any power capacity. Thanks to many years of experience and good relations with the largest producers, Soltec customers can count on the constant availability of the essential components, as well as substantive and technical support in the selection, design, and servicing of photovoltaic equipment. The company also organizes training in the scope of installation of photovoltaic installations, energy storage, hybrid systems, and the most modern solutions in this area.

“We are delighted that so many Poles have understood how important it is to obtain alternative energy, and we can contribute to it. The dynamic development of Soltec in recent years and the expansion of the company's team have prompted us to rent a larger volume of warehouse and office space. Finding an attractive warehouse in the first zone in Warsaw was not easy. The partners from Cresa helped us go through the search and negotiation process, thanks to which we will be able to start moving some of the products to the new place from October,” says Hanna Ziętkowska, Operations Director at Soltec.

Prologis Park Warsaw II is a modern distribution centre with a warehouse and office complex and public transport right next to the park, located in a revitalized area in an industrial district of Warsaw. The park is located right next to the city's beltway and the S8 route. Direct access to these roads allows for effective distribution both within the capital city and throughout the country. The international airport and the A2 motorway are about 10 km away from the warehouse. The Soltec warehouse will occupy 4,100 sqm. The tenant leased the last available area in this park.

“Location was paramount in this transaction. In the photovoltaic market, competitive advantage and meeting customer requirements are crucial, especially in terms of delivery time. Another challenge was to find an attractive location for a warehouse and an office space where meetings with clients could take place. For this reason, the new headquarters had to be in the first zone of Warsaw, with good access to the primary communication arteries,” says Miłosz Borkowski, Senior Advisor in the Industrial and Warehouse Department at Cresa Polska.
